But today is your special day, because I’m going to play with some black and white photo manipulations.

As usual, I used my Kubota Actions as well as Totally Rad Actions – Dirty Pictures.

I basically did my usual post processing in RAW then used Kubota Actions to convert then to Black and White and manipulated the shadows and light in order to get just the right balance that I was aiming to get.

Then, I used Totally Rad – Dirty Pictures (specifically roxie glitterhips and sapphire velvet). VOILA! Instant Black and White goodness with some textures to boost up its  awesomeness.

I adore the shades of light in both pictures with a tint of color beaming through. Enjoy!

I basically take the original shot and add some tweaks to fix the lighting and color. Once that is done, I use some of my basic photoshop techniques to fix any additional things to the picture I want such as blemishes, skin discolorations, etc. I then use some good ‘ol Photoshop actions to help give it that “boost” of flavor I want. Below, I used a mix of Kubota Image Tools and Totally Rad Actions.
