Abbot Kinney Engagement | Brian + Christine

Exactly one year ago, Brian proposed to Christine during sunset on the streets of San Francisco. It was beautiful in every sense of the word. Now, they are getting ready to tie the knot and say “I DO” in front of all their family and friends. *sigh* Just another blissful story I was lucky enough to hear while hanging out with Brian and Christine.

I had the pleasure of documenting Brian and Christine’s love session in the heart of Venice. I love Venice with all it’s uniqueness and eclectic beauty. It was a great location to roam around and have fun with these two. Brian and Christine did a great job making their session show off who they really are as a couple. Christine loves to bake, they both love to play scrabble together, and they both are die hard food truck lovers! Music to my ears! I love couples who take the time to really think out their engagement sessions and really try and personalize it. It makes the outcome so much better and really adds a special element that holds near and dear to their hearts!! I love it!

I am super stoked to shoot Brian and Christine’s wedding this coming October! Oh and Christine – don’t forget to tell the DJ to play some BSB…your photog might just dance and shoot..I am real good at that! haha =P

SoCal PhotogShootOut | Pasadena, CA

Yesterday, I had a FANTASTIC time at the SoCal PhotogShootout. The focus of the day was basically a mock engagement/wedding event with a Romeo & Juliet theme. It basically went through the process of a typical engagement, getting ready, details, ceremony, bridal session, couple session, and reception in a matter of 4 hours. It was an opportunity for people to get a chance to practice and experiment and learn from each other. I also had a great time meeting old friends and making some new ones. This event allowed me to test out different ideas I had in my mind and get creative and relax. It was so much fun and I learned so much from everyone around me. It was a very well coordinated event so I have to give a big thanks to the coordinators: Matt Saville and Hanssie Trainor. You guys did a fantastic job so a very sincere thank you to you both. I’m sure it was a lot of work to put together in such a short amount of time.

UCLA and San Pedro Engagement Session | Sohee and Phil

UCLA holds a special place in Sohee and Phil’s hearts. They both graduated from there. Surprisingly, they did not meet in college. They both went to UCLA and graduated the same year but did not meet until years later through Phil’s Dad. How cute is that?! They also enjoy watchign UCLA football together and as you can tell from the pictures below, they really really love UCLA! hehehe

I met Sohee years ago through mutual friends. I was thrilled to hear about their engagement and excited that they wanted me to take their engagement session. We started at UCLA and ended up at San Pedro for a beach session. Sohee and Phil are perfect for one another. They are soft spoken and sweet with one another. They make such a good match. I can see Phil taking good care of Sohee and I’m so excited for their future together. Thanks guys for a wonderful day and congrats again on your upcoming wedding!!

Wedding Canvas | Nina and Matt

Nina and Matt’s wedding is coming up in about a week and I’m super excited! It’s going to be a great day. I just know it!!

In the meantime, here is a product shot of a canvas using Nina and Matt’s Trash the Dress session. This is a 20×30 Gallery Wrap that hangs on your wall and looks like a piece of art! No need for frames folks! I was so thrilled to hand this over to Nina and Matt. The picture is adorable and they are an awesome couple! I’m so lucky to have awesome clients like them!
