Yay! I got some new toys to play with during the holidays. I recently just purchased 2 new lenses to add to my slowly growing equipment. I got a wide angle lens: Canon  16-35mm 2.8 II. This lens is great for group shots, scenic shots, and for areas where there isn’t that much space for me to back up. I also got myself a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS lens. This is a workhorse of a lens that will help get some nice portrait shots as well as awesome ceremony shots. I love this lens because it allows me to zoom in and I don’t have to be so close to the couple. It’s great for capturing candids and special moments.

With all this new gear, I think I’m going to need a rolling bag. *hint hint*

Maybe Santa will be nice and surprise me with something useful to help me lug all this equipment around.

In the meantime, I’m going to be super busy this holiday season. I have family in town from the Philippines arriving this week. I have to play tour guide and bring them to all the hot spots of Southern California. In other words, theme parks galore!!  I have a few family sessions and engagement sessions also coming up during the holidays but will not be scheduling anymore sessions for the remainder of 2009.  So if you’re looking to book, please book me for 2010.
