Jenny Yoo Bridal Soiree | The London West Hollywood

I had the pleasure of attending the Jenny Yoo Bridal Soiree last night at The London West Hollywood. It was also a bonus that one of my 2011 brides and her makeup artist, Susie Chhuor would also be attending. Susie Chhuor and her team were actually one of the fabulous vendors sponsoring this party. Her team did all the hair and makeup for the fashion show! How fabulous is that?! Her team did a phenomenal job! I’ve worked with Susie Chhuor on 2 weddings already and a few more in 2011. You guys should really check out her work! I was even more pleased to see one of my past work showcased in her promotional giveaways. You have no idea how exciting that is for me! It makes me feel all tingly inside! hehe

Anyways, check out some of the highlights of the event. Including a trio of waiter/singers to entertain the crowd, some fabulous bridal dresses, and incredible wedding gowns! Good times!

Margaret’s Bridal Shower | Torrance, CA

This is a very special posting and event I had the pleasure of shooting. My dear cousin, Margaret, is marrying her long time boyfriend, Mikhail next month. This past weekend, I attended her bridal shower and shot some of it to help document her special day.

The day was filled with so much laughter and memories. OH! And tons of drinking! haha This group can drink and I love it! I can’t wait to attend her wedding next month and get buzzed with the rest of the family! It should be a lot of fun! Here are some of my favorite photos from her bridal shower. Margaret’s friends did a great job on creating such a beautiful bridal shower!

Engagement Party | Thao and Hai

I had the pleasure to take photos at Thao and Hai’s Engagement party in Poway, CA. It would be my very first Vietnamese engagement party. My boyfriend, Hao, is Vietnamese and I had to ask his older sister to look at her engagement party pictures so that I would have a decent idea of the flow of a typical Vietnamese engagement party. Upon arriving, Lai and I got totally lost. Sometimes those darn GPS aren’t perfectly correct!! lol Nevertheless, we finally found the place when we saw a bunch of cars. That’s always a good indicator that there’s a party going on!

Thao’s parents house was so gorgeous! Their backyard was the perfect party location. Thao’s mom outdid herself and did a fabulous job coordinating the entire event. Thao looked so beautiful. She has a cute baby face and a great smile! Her makeupand hair was too cute too! Hai is a lucky dude!

They had plenty of food, a cute cake, DJ, and even an open bar and this isn’t even their wedding yet?! Seriously…talk about A-mazing!! Here are some of the shots from their engagement party. Congrats to you both! =).

Pretty in Pink!

Last Saturday, I spent a full day with back to back photo sessions. For now, here are the photos from Courtney’s Sweet 16! Courtney and her mom Suzanne are so sweet and too cute! They had their party at Domenico’s in Monrovia, CA. I ate here once and their pizzas are FABULOUS!! It’s just delish!! It’s a must try!

Courtney’s family and friends are so much fun! You would never catch my family making silly faces at the camera. But I adore how Courtney’s family and friends were always up for a good time and willing to make goofy faces when I told them too! haha I had such a good time taking pictures of everyone. I almost felt like I was there to party with the rest of them. =)

I also adored Courtney’s baby pink dress! It was just the right light shade of pink and she looked awesome in it.
