I loved it! I love when my couples relax and just laugh and can be silly in front of me. It’s a beautiful thing! And check out this beautiful beach! Not a person in sight! That’s my type of beach. The college years usually holds a very special place in everyone’s hearts as it does for Kathleen and Wayley. They both attended UCLA but did not know each other until after they were nearly done. Thank goodness for mutual friends! *wink*

Wayley is such a gentleman and I can tell he adores Kathleen with how he looks at her and takes care of her. Kathleen is super sweet and beautiful! You can totally be a model Kathleen!! :) Together, they are wonderful and uber adorable.

I’m so excited to document their wedding this August!

Disneyland of course is where Melisa and Robert met while they both worked there. It holds a very special place in their hearts. I’ve been shooting a lot of Disneyland engagements this year as many of you may have noticed. I guess Disneyland is a popular place for most couples. I can see why! I’ve been MAD busy with the show, my photography business, family/friends, and new endeavors. It’s still a work in progress but it’s another lifelong dream slowly coming true!

2012 has been treating me super well and I am so lucky to have such incredible clients and fans.

Now, I’d love to introduce to you Patty and Kevin. They have a beautiful wedding coming up this May in Downtown LA. They have been together for quite a long time and I am so proud that I was lucky enough to document their engagement session in Los Angeles. They are simple, easy going, and oh so cute together!

As I am writing this blog, I’m just about to go shoot another one at the Happiest Place on Earth. Disneyland is a special place for a lot of people, including myself. I feel like nothing bad can happen to me when I’m there just walking around and people watching. I can see how couples love going here and feeling like two kids in a playground. :)

Marisa and Jacob are actually recent newlyweds from the Bay area who wanted to celebrate part of their honeymoon here at Disneyland. I basically crashed their honeymoon and took some shots of the happy couple to not only document their honeymoon but also their love for one another. They are too cute for each other! I loved spending the day with them there. CONGRATULATIONS Marisa and Jacob! Thank you again for the sweet gift!! I’m already using it in the kitchen!! :)

I spent the day with them at Disneyland where Brian proposed to her. It was a pretty crazy and crowded day but we made the most out of it and had a ton of fun. They are one of the nicest couples EVER!! They are so sweet, they even gave me cupcakes and a disney vinylmation as a thank you gift! You guys really didn’t have to but thank you so much for your sweet gesture!!! It totally made my day!

Meet Lynn and Ken…..they have a love for baking, Farmer’s Market, and each other! They are goofy and sweet with one another. It’s just too cute! These two are actually from Vancouver and they flew to So.Cal to shoot their engagement session. How cool is that? I spent the afternoon with them at the Santa Monica’s Farmer’s market and beach. I haven’t been here in a while so I felt somewhat of a tourist myself. It was great to walk around and just enjoy the beach atmosphere.

The one word no photographer or couple wants to hear when it’s time to shoot their engagement session or wedding. Trust me, it’s definitely not ideal conditions but it’s also not the end of the world. I’ve learned to roll with the punches and make the most out of it. Luckily, Deanna and Kiet were willing to take the adventure with me.

We decided to go to a nearby hotel and take some shots and hope the rain stopped long enough for us to go get some outside shots. Well, Mother Nature gave us a break and we immediately rushed to the marina to get some shots at Kiet’s boat. We quickly got the shots we needed and then it started to rain again! *phew*

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

We got what we needed. Granted, we had to hurry and rush but we worked it out and everything turned out marvelously!

I have quite a few Disneyland engagement sessions this coming year and here is the first of many. Ilona and Erwin are actually big Disney fans and they have decided to have their wedding there this coming April. These two are adorable and sweet! We decided to head to Disneyland for the recent Christmas holidays. I love Disneyland during the holidays. It’s extra magical during this time of the year!! Ilona and Erwin even gave me the sweetest Christmas gift – a Mickey Mouse chef’s apron!! I will be sporting this while I cook! Thank you guys for the thoughtful gift. :)

It feels oh so good to be back!!!

I have been MIA and although it was nice and refreshing, it feels super awesome to be back home and do my normal routines. I missed my family, friends, and my work. Lisa and Jim were my first couple I shot since coming back and we had an amazing time shooting in Santa Clarita. The location they found was perfect and the sun peaked out just long enough for me to get some beautiful shots of the happy couple. I simply cannot wait to shoot their wedding in May at the Walnut Grove in Moorpark. Such an adorable venue for an adorable couple!

Check out their loveliness and ooo and ahhh as much as you want because the scenery and colors are so breathtaking! Lisa and Jim did a great job incorporating elements of props that were very personal to them. Check out the exquisite quilt at the end of the blog! Lisa’s grandmother handmade that quilt! It’s beautiful!

Lisa’s dad fixed up this old motorbike. Their family name is NORMAN and it was such a wonderful idea to use this motorbike as a prop. It’s so vintage and oh so cool!!
