IT’S A GIRL!!!

I finally did my first ever maternity session! And I’m so thrilled and honored that it’s with my college friend, Angelica. When she told me she was pregnant with her first child, I was so excited and happy for her. Becoming a mommy is such a life changing experience and I know that she’s going to be a great mommy!

Angelica and Jason are having a baby girl which they will name – Sage. I’m biased but any names that start with “S” is a good name! lol

Angelica, Jason, my boyfriend Hao, and myself all went to the Redondo Beach Wilderness Park to take some maternity photos of the happy parents-to-be. It was Hao’s first time assisting me and it was so nice to have an assistant for a change. My shoulders and neck were very happy that it didn’t have to lug all my camera gear by myself. =P As we roamed around, we all had fun catching up and talking about babies, pregnancy, and Disneyland.  We all love Disneyland and go quite often!!

But as Angelica was telling me about her experiences of being pregnant, I was quickly reminded of how scared I am. I’m not sure if there is such a thing, but sometimes I think I have a phobia of becoming pregnant. It seems very scary to me. The whole process of expanding, cravings, hard to sleep, swollen feet, and of course the whole birthing process. But I also know that the reward at the end far exceeds all the fear. But I guess I’m not at that stage YET of being mentally prepared to be a mom. When I am, I’m sure everyone will know since I’m not one to keep secrets well. =P

In any case, I just wanted to take the time to say that I’m so excited for Angelica and Jason. Sage is one lucky baby who is going to have such wonderful parents who will take her to Disneyland quite often! hahaha I love you guys and I can’t wait to meet baby Sage!! Angelica – You are a beautiful pregnant woman! If you don’t believe me, check out the pictures below! You’re ADORABLE!!!! =D

Don’t worry folks! These were edible cookies! haha I wonder if this symbolizes how “sweet” Sage will be when she grows up! So sweet, her parents can’t wait to eat her up! hahaha
