I’M BAAAAACCCCK!!
I just celebrated my 30th birthday in New York City last weekend and I had a blast! It was my 3rd time going to NYC and it never gets old. I simply love walking, using public transportation and not having to drive, and eating and not feeling bad because I’m walking it off all day! I got to watch Rock of Ages – the musical since I love musicals! It was Hao’s first time and I think I finally got him semi-hooked on musicals which is so sexy to me…hehe. He even watches Glee with me and it’s just too cute! We had so much fun and we enjoyed every minute of it!
So I came back earlier this week and have been super swamped with catching up on emails and taking care of some personal family responsibilities. So for those of you out there who have been emailing and calling me, PLEASE bear with me the next few weeks. I have tons of stuff on my plate at the moment and I’m trying to just get everything back to a normal pace I can handle. Unfortunately, I have a sick family member who I have been playing nurse with and it is taking up a lot of my time. But things are getting better but I am still adjusting to my new schedule and new responsibilities. So please bear with me. I promise to respond as soon as I can.
In other news, I did a very short mini session with my friend Mark who lives in NYC. He is a mutual friend of mine and this was our first time to finally meet in person. We have only been online friends over the past years. It was great to finally meet him. Unfortunately, since I was on vacation, I didn’t have enough time to do a full on session with him. So we headed to Central Park and Columbus Circle to do a quick portrait session. I love NYC and I seriously need to go back just to take photographs left and right. There is so much scenic areas to shoot at and tons of great light!!! I was really bummed I didn’t have enough time to shoot more.
So here is some of the photos from my portrait session with Mark! I truly believe everyone needs some good solo portrait shots of themselves at least once in their lifetimes. Seriously! The more the merrier in my book! Why not have some good shots of just yourself?!?! You can flaunt them on Facebook atleast right?! hehe
