Wedding Photographer Tools: The Shootsac

I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t initially WOW’d by the idea of purchasing a Shootsac. I’m very cost conscientious and I really research a ton and save my pennies until I’m fully ready to invest in anything. But as time went on, I realized the need of a lens bag. I found myself constantly switching lens to get that certain “shot” and I always had to stop, bend down, drop my backpack, and switch my lens. *sigh* This eventually became such a hassle for me and I then started to research on a lens bag that would fit my needs. I had a few options but I kept gravitating to the Shootsac because it was light and it fit my needs. So I jumped shipped and purchased one. I wasn’t even planning on purchasing a cover because I actually really like the all black bag. But then I saw a cute pink cover and since I adore pink, I splurged and got that too! haha

I’m happy with my purchases. It is a very good investment for me. Anything that helps save me time and energy is always a good investment. The bag is lightweight, flexible, durable, and stylish. The extra shoulder padding is a must as well since lenses can be very heavy. I am happy to say that I have finally converted and now I am a Shootsac lover. Now I’m still waiting on Black Rapid to release their women’s line of straps and I will be complete.
