My boyfriend’s cousin, Mary, just got a new puppy recently. His name is Louie and he is half Shih Tzu and half Chihuahua. Ok, anyone who knows me knows I am pretty afraid of animals. But over the years, I have been SLOWLY trying to learn to be less afraid of dogs. Puppies scare me even less so when I heard she got a puppy, I was so excited to meet the little pup and take pictures of him. He is adorable and very friendly and playful. He’s so tiny and so cute!! It almost makes me want to have my own puppy, but then I realize all the money and hard work that goes into having a dog and I get over it REAL fast. I think I’ll just stick to playing with other people’s doggies for a while. Besides, I still get scared especially if the dog barks or jumps or is HUGE…haha It’s a slow process but I’m slowly learning to love dogs. I do find them quite adorable and very endearing!!
Here are some shots of puppy Louie.

I recently got Totally Rad Actions – Dirty Pictures. It’s these new action set that helps turn photos into more artsy looking photographs with the use of textures. I am just starting to play around with them. You definitely want to use it sparingly and use it with photos that look best with a textured flavor to it.
I used Ginger Savannah and Cherry Amore textures on the two photos below. I think they came out great! The texture helps give it an extra depth to the picture and a little extra spice.
