Last Wednesday, I decided to head to Temecula with some photographer friends to attend a Bridal Shoot. It was basically a mock wedding. These types of shoots have over a dozen photographers who collaborates with models and stylists to come up with some memorable photography. It’s a good day for the stylists and models to show their stuff as well as for the photographers to gain some practice and connect with other photographers.
My goal of the day was to improve my lighting skills. One of them being how to add that sun flare to my photography photos. I finally did it and it was a great feeling. You can see below I threw it in a few of the photos. I was pretty darn proud of myself. =)
In any case, I wanted to say a big thank you to Tracy Dee who put this whole thing together. It was an amazing location with fabulous models and awesome props. The shoot was meant to be a vintage vibe. So as you can tell below, I tried to keep my signature style but I did make some of the photos a bit more “vintage-ish” since that type of look fits best with that particular photo. I am pretty happy with the outcome and hope that you all love it as well.
I had a fabulous time connecting with other photographers. I learned a lot from them and had a lot of laughs with them too. It’s events such as these that I truly value. Dude! I actually ended up with so many favorites photos. I had to try and reduce the amount of faves as to not clog up my blog entry…haha
So here are my favorite photos from the bridal shoot. Enjoy!
