My high school friend Emily messaged me one day and inquired about headshots for her dad. Tom Sandoval is an up and coming actor. He has done numerous theater shows and has now acquired himself an agent and is beginning his tv acting career. It’s so awesome he has an agent! You know how many people would kill to have an agent? It ain’t easy to get one!! I personally have always wanted to do voice overs. I took a few classes and even went on a few auditions, but I never have the time or the money to fully pursure it. So I’m always so envious when I can see someone else pursue their acting dreams. I wish I could too, but I know it’s in due time. It’s still on my radar and on my to do list! =P
Anyways…back to Tom! He’s such a sweet, loving, friendly type of guy! I had a good time walking around and taking his photo. He’s so easy to work with since he’s so laid back. As I mentioned before, he needed some basic headshots but with different looks and backgrounds. We decided to head to the Claremont Colleges. His son is actually a teacher here and so he really knew the area well. It’s such a pretty campus. I personally think it’s a hidden gem. Luckily, it’s summertime so there was absolutely no students to interfere with our photo session. We went early so it wasn’t too hot and the sun was less harsh. It was simply perfect! A photo playground for us to play in!
