Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a PhotogShootOut. PhotogShootOut is a national organization where they bring us photographers together to collaborate and learn from one another. Jasmine Star(who is one of the top 10 photographer in the nation!) attended and was a guest speaker. I was absolutely nervous to meet her and was super shy to even speak to her but I found some sort of courage juice to do it on occasion. I also just loved watching how she worked with the model. The whole experience was pretty darn cool. Michael and Anna Costa also came by to give their wise tips and teachings as well. Thanks to you all for taking the time to come and hang out and talk to us all!!
The whole day was a great opportunity to network with fellow photographers who are professional or just starting out or are simply doing it as a hobby. It was so much fun to work with the models and the beautiful picturesque San Juan Capistrano. I met some really cool photographers and even got to finally meet some twitter/facebook friends who I’ve been chatting with. I was really pleased with the pictures taken yesterday and it really got me to think about brand and my style more. I also feel like I know a bit more about what are my next steps to take to improve my business and technical skills. I can only hope that I can continue to grow and improve and be as good as the other photographers I saw yesterday. Everyone was amazing and I had so much fun! Thank you again to Hanssie and Matt for organizing and to ShootDotEdit for giving us a fabulous dinner! Thank you to all the models and the team of All Made Up! Everyone rocked and I am so grateful to have met everyone!
